Resources available for graduate Diploma in Social Health students
At the Centre for Health and Society, we endeavour to provide the best possible supervision, facilities and resources for our research higher degree students and we are working to continually improve these resources.The Research and Graduate Studies Committee of the University Academic Board aims to set standards for facilities and resources and to define improvement targets. We abide by this charter and will ensure that our research higher degree students have access to the following:
- A comprehensive induction and orientation to discuss facilities and resources available to the student (including building access, photocopying, etc)
- Access to a shared networked computer and IT support for information access
- A university email account and email access
- Limited dial-in access from home (obtainable from Information Technology Services - ITS) to a limit of 84 hrs per year ($50 per year) for Graduate Diploma students
- Authorised access to photocopying at the Centre; students will be given a pin number and a page limit of 500 pages a year.
- Access to common room and tea and coffee making facilities
- Authorised building access after working hours if required
- Postgraduate representation on relevant department committees
