CHS Postgraduate Departmental Group
In July 2000 the CHS Postgraduate Departmental Group was formed. This was an initiative of the Centre’s postgraduate students. All CHS postgraduate students are automatically invited to be members of the Departmental Group. Furthermore, CHS postgraduate students are invited to attend Departmental Group meetings and are encouraged to nominate for Executive and Non-executive positions on the committee.
The official aims of the CHS Postgraduate Departmental Group are:
(1) To foster a supportive academic environment by providing opportunities for discussion, collaborative learning and communication of research ideas.
(2) To represent CHS postgraduate students to the Department, Faculty and University, and,
(3) To encourage the social interaction of students within the department.
